  • After we took a course in asking for directions, my husband was driving us to the store once, and I said to my granddaughter, go straight, turn left, turn right on the second block, and keep going, the store Just to your left (It's on the left). She understood, and I was very happy.

      (I never had English before, so I couldn't read or understand when I go out in                   New Zealand. Now I can go shopping, I can understand the ads in the                            supermarket. Thanks to the government (for the free course), thanks to the school,        Thanks to the teacher.
